Hemp as a super capacitor - why not!

Hemp has a very strong carbon base and can be reduced into a high functioning graphite. Now, the researchers at the University of Alberta National Institute for Nanotechnology have found it is also a candidate for power storage.

The Ministry of Hemp (USA) has reported on research being done into using the carbon based stems of hemp to create a graphene able to be used to store energy.  Early days as yet but the possible future of energy storage could be growing in a paddock right now.

Follow the link to a 3 minute story about how this is happening now in the US.
