Adelaide Uni researching hemp seeds for Australian climate
Prof. Rachel Burton, from the University of Adelaide is heading up a research team into finding hemp seeds with high oil and protien content. The team is also looking at find drought tolerant seeds, something very much needed for growing in WA vast wheatbelt areas.

Hemp feed trials on Sheep
Agrifutures, with DPIRD, Southern Cross University and the ChemCentre have been using pelletised feed with varialbe amounts of hemp content to feed sheep and test the growth and meat outcomes.
